When You Wish Upon a Star - Martin Plaza and Rosemary

When it comes to Australian musicians, I'm afraid I am most familiar with only a small handful of groups, including AC/DC, Men at Work and the Wiggles.

I learned a whole lot more about Australian musicians when I heard the Japanese exclusive DUETS: A FAMILY CELEBRATION, a whole CD of Disney cover songs recorded by Australian pop idols. Each song is sung by a parent/child duet, this one in particular is by MARTIN PLAZA of the band Mental As Anything, and his daughter, Rosemary.

Mental As Anything is a popular pop rock band from the 80s with such chart topping hits as If You Leave Me, Can I Come Too?, Live it Up and Rock 'n Roll Music. Although their fame never stretched as far as North America, they became quite popular in New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

I'm in love with this song. Rosemary is so sweet!
