Robin Hood Week continues with Oo-De-Lally, a cheerful song about the exploits of Robin Hood and his best friend, Little John. This instrumental version features a variety of fantastic bluegrass players, including GLEN DUNCAN, an expert in many instruments, but especially the fiddle.
By the age of 7, Duncan was playing the lap steel guitar. By the age of 12, he learned the banjo. By the age of 14, he was able to play the piano and organ! Born into a musical family help foster his love of instruments, but it was where he lived that made a bigger impact on his musical style. Living in southern Indiana was a small community of bluegrass musicians, many of which took Duncan under their tutelage in his infancy as a musician. Soon, he was playing on stage with these professionals and giving them a run for their money!
Duncan has appeared on more country, bluegrass and rock albums than you can fit on your iPod. He has become a highly sought after studio musician due to his expertise in a variety of interments. He is part of the studio band for the CMH record label who produces a variety of Pickin' On bluegrass tribute albums, including HEIGH HO BANJO: BLUEGRASS SALUTES FAVORITE DISNEY SONGS
