Love - Louis Prima

Today is the final day of Robin Hood Week, and if you've been keeping track, you'll be aware that I haven't posted a cover of Robin Hood's love ballad. Well, the aptly named Love is the feature track today, sung by the Jungle Book's King Louie!

In 1974, shortly after the release of Robin Hood, jazz musician and voice of King Louie, LOUIS PRIMA, was asked to record the story of Robin Hood as told by Robin's buddy King Louie. LET'S "HEAR IT" FOR ROBIN HOOD features Prima narrating as well as singing two covers and six new songs, one of which is called King Louie and Robin Hood. Backing up Prima is Sam Butera and the Witnesses, Prima's band at the time.
