My wife brought to my attention the other day that I haven't yet posted any covers of Let's Go Fly a Kite. This song has transcended Mary Poppins (like many of the film's songs) and has become a standard children's tune. I remember singing this song in elementary school choir, before I had even seen Mary Poppins.
There are quite a few covers of this song, but one of the most fun is the version found on DISNEY MUSIC BLOCK PARTY
by none other than MICKEY MOUSE and GOOFY! It's fun to listen to these two characters that we know so well, and whose voices are so iconic. Bill Farmer is the ever-lovable Goofy and the late Wayne Allwine is the enduring Mickey Mouse.

Did you know that Live 365 has a great station called Walt's Music that has tons of cover songs of Disney's movies, especially the lesser known ones? I found it today and it reminded me of your site :)
I have "Disney Music Block Party" on CD and Mickey and Goofy's version of "Let's Go Fly A Kite" is my favorite cover on the whole album! It still brings a smile in my heart. Rest in peace, Mr. Allwine, you will never be forgotten.
