(Theme To) The Mickey Mouse Club - The Bran Flakes

Here's one for the 'bizarre' category: THE BRAN FLAKES are a sound collage pop group, meaning they take pre-existing music and use samples to make up a new song.

This track uses the Mickey Mouse March pretty much in its entirety. However, every time Mickey's name is being spelled, they repeat the K twice so that the singers are shouting 'KKK'. I'm sure you all can figure out what they are alluding to, especially with the machine gun and air raid siren sound effects. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to find this hilarious or be offended. Maybe a little of both.

Due to the illegal sampling that makes up their music, Bran Flakes albums are not widely distributed, but they are up on Amazon Marketplace and as mp3 downloads. This song can be found on I DON'T HAVE A FRIEND which was released in 2000.
