When You Wish Upon a Star - Marcel Dadi

MARCEL DADI was an incredible French guitarist. Performing since he was 12, he was heavily influenced by the flat-picking style of American guitarists like Chet Atkins and introduced this style to a European audience.

He recorded almost 20 albums throughout his career, including LA GUITARE A DADI, VOL. 2 which includes a beautiful version of When You Wish Upon a Star.

In 1996, Dadi was honored at Nashville's Country Music Hall of Fame. On his flight back to France, his plane exploded off the coast of Long Island. The world of country and folk lost a great artist that day, but his music lives on.

This is one of most beautiful pieces of acoustic guitar music I have heard in a long time; and I'm a big fan of live acoustic music, so I appreciate such music as this.

Thank you for sharing this piece, and I will certainly be on the lookout for Dadi's work to add to my music collection.
