Finishing up Christmas Week today falls perfectly with When You Wish Upon a Star Friday! No, this is not another "Christmas Remix" like I posted yesterday.
It seems that When You Wish Upon a Star has gone on to be a holiday favourite in Sweden, Norway and Denmark! The song, in a Christmas context, makes reference to the Star of Bethlehem that the Wise Men follow to find Jesus.
R&B group ALL-4-ONE recorded a Christmas album in 1995 and included this song. Does this validate When You Wish Upon a Star's Christmas status?

I'm from Brasil... In 1996 I completed 18 years and asked my dad for my dream present: a trip to Disney World. It was July (my B-day) and they were releasing 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame'. So, all parks were full of decorations and there were plenty of products from the film on the stores.
I was (I am) a huge R&B lover, despite the fact the style never was that successfull here in Brasil. But I was thrilled when I saw the name of my favorite group on the cover of 'The Hunchback...'. I bought the cd right away. And at the same trip I found the Christmas album... I didn't even know they had one before seeing it... Again, people, in Brasil they were not that popular... How thrilled I was to hear my Delious Kennedy (the 2th tenor-baritone singing the song) singing my Fave disney song... Aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh... So Dear to my heart!!!
